Project Leader - Fire Insulation Coatings Laboratory.

Felling, Gateshead

With extensive experience in the protective coatings industry, you're ready to join a business that will encourage your input welcome your ideas and enable you to act on them. Look no further than this project leader role with International Paint part of AkzoNobel working on a new project development for our Fire and Insulation Coatings business

As a project leader with the laboratory, you will create, manage and drive work plans that facilitate the delivery of new products and technical support to the business so growth targets are achieved. Working as part of a team you will ensure you work to the highest standard and provide others with coaching and training they need to achieve this standard. You'll also carry out project work, review progress, and keep others up-to-date with what's going on. You'll also be responsible for ensuring that HSE standards are maintained within your area of work.

A graduate in chemistry or a related subject, you have an impressive technical background showing you're adept at managing projects and people. You're are clearly skilled at taking projects from initial ideas through experimental design and product testing to batch scale-up, production and field testing. You're also used to performing laboratory tests and training others to do so. You know how to present, discuss and debate work programmes and results with all levels of technical and non technical staff.

Job Specification

Paint Inspector required for the Southern region, for an initial 6 month period with potential for a full time contract.
ICorr/NACE level 2 with 5 years experience preferred + Rail and Highways experience also preferred but not essential.

Immediate start for the right candidate, pay to be discussed along with travel expenses + own transport required.
