Venue

Hamburg is an excellent venue for the conference, the city is easily
reached from the main cities in Europe by road and train. (There is
a Deutsche Bahn connection every hour with all major cities in
central and northern Europe, and express trains all call at
Dammtor station, a 10-minute walk from the exhibition grounds).
The airport is only 20 minutes from the city centre and conference
venue, with flights from many cities in Europe and by connection
at Frankfurt, with cities around the world.
Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany, with many fine
restaurants and a good public transport system. It also has a
strong seafaring tradition. It is a major seaport and is the central
hub for trade with northern and eastern Europe and the second
most important container port in Europe.

Conference Arrangements

The conference will be held in Marseille rooms 4-6 of the
Hamburg Messe Fairground. The Fairground is easily reached by
public transport.
Delegates will receive FREE SMM exhibition passes, prior to the
conference, which must be worn to access the Fairgrounds.
