What the course offers

Being qualified with the IMO PSPC certificate assists your career within the marine coatings and corrosion control industry

The course - £765.00 + VAT

This marine coatings and inspection specific training scheme requires you to complete the online core and specialist modules. Each unit must be completed by passing a multiple choice test with 100% pass mark. Once the online training is complete you are then required to attend a one day theoretical and practical assessment.

The assessment

The practical and theoretical assessment requires you to complete a PR34, IMO, PSPC Approved Coating Inspector 1 hour general coating inspection exam (70% pass rate) and a Practical assessment lasting approximately 1-2 hours.

Course equivalence

This qualification is the equivalent to NACE Coating Inspector Level 2 and FROSIO Inspector Level III in accordance with IMO Performance Standard for Protective Coatings and IACS CSR
