ABYA - (ASSOCIATION OF BROKERS AND YACHT AGENTS)

In order to become an ABYA student member you need to be undertaking an appropriate course of study in the marine industry. The Boat Retail & Brokerage Diploma is an ideal training programme to meet this requirement. There is no joining fee and students are provided with 3 years membership.

Once you become a Student member you are entitled to attend ABYA training courses, seminars and conferences at the discounted membership rate. In particular we hope you will use the opportunity to get to know other brokers, designers and surveyors who will be able to help you in the years to come in your chosen career.

There are no set routes for becoming a broker and once you have finished your training there is no substitute for experience. This can be hard to get, and the contacts you have made within the membership of ABYA should help you with this. members are pleased to encourage new members as you are the future of the Association.
